Artist's Comments
This is a really recent painting - it was a birthday present for my Dad. He had asked me long ago to paint something for him and I just now got around to it. When I was growing up, we would always listen to music while we'd decorate the Christmas tree - so I guess it's kind of a father-daughter theme specific to us. I also incorporated his favorite color - purple and favorite animal - otters - to make it a little more personal.
