It feels a bit odd to receive a DD when I've been so absentee around here for such a long time.  Recently, I've been a bit tied up with commercial work that I won't be able to show for quite a while.  Hopefully I have something new to show soon. I thought surely something odd is going on when I logged-in this morning and saw over 1300 message in my in-box.  So, many thanks to !STelari (https://www.deviantart.com/stelari) for featuring my painting The Crane's Captive for a Daily Deviation!  I'm sure you all understand I won't be able to reply to each and every message, but I do read and greatly appreciate each and every message. :) On an aside, has anybody every tried using acryla gouache?  If yes, did you like it/hate it?  Is it more like acrylic or more like gouache?  Or a really good hybrid of the two?  I'm so interested in trying it out, but I'm hestiant to buy a small set only to find out I don't really l
